The window, web, and old facade offer three different frames for the autumn setting.
An old window frames a forest in the opening print. A spider web hangs among dry grass at the center, before an old facade appears amid autumn surroundings in the last panel. The window and facade provide architectural edges around the two wider views, while the fine web draws attention to a small detail. Muted brown and gray keep the three scenes together without obscuring their distinct subjects.
The scenes appear in a reading nook and above an oak console in a gray entryway. Their muted colors can sit with warm wood and soft neutrals, with the window and facade adding architectural lines.
